SLYDOXA WAS CREATED IN MARCH 2021 BY SYLVIE BAGNON

In April 2015, following the death of her mother, Sylvie realized that life could end at any moment, before she even had the opportunity to realize her deepest passions. Since childhood, she had dreamed of creating a clothing line that would enhance women, because she loved to see them beautiful and elegant. Convinced that a woman should be able to express the best version of herself, even with a simple outfit, her goal was to offer them the freedom to personalize their style through original creations. This is a practice she already applied by adding her personal touch to the clothes she bought. However, she lacked the courage to get started.

The passing of her mother was the catalyst she needed. In 2016, Sylvie left her permanent position at Bon Marché Rive Gauche, an iconic Parisian luxury destination. Determined to enhance her skills in the world of fashion and haute couture, she joined several prestigious fashion houses, working through specialized temp agencies. She had the honor of working as a seamstress for renowned brands such as CHANEL, YVES SAINT LAURENT, BALMAIN, LOUIS VUITTON, SONIA RYKIEL, CHLOÉ, STELLA McCARTNEY, LANVIN, MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA, COURRÈGES, CELINE, and many others.

At the same time, during her days off, Sylvie began accepting custom-made orders and alterations from her entourage, combining her Haute Couture skills with a personalized and intimate approach. Despite the obstacles, she started her first creations under the SLYDOXA brand in 2020, during the first lockdown imposed by the health crisis. This difficult time was an opportunity for her to focus on her passion: creating dresses that she called "Dress Dresses or Luxury Dresses". Her company was officially launched in March 2021.

Today, SLYDOXA embodies not only Sylvie’s passion for fashion and luxury, but also her deep desire to help every woman express her unique beauty. Through her Prêt-à-Porter creations and her custom-made offering, each client can wear pieces that reflect her, revealing the best version of herself. Sylvie’s story is one of a daring journey, a rebirth and a celebration of feminine beauty, proving that sometimes, life’s challenges can give birth to the most sincere dreams.
